Attorney Kelly Clark is most widely known as a Partner with the Portland, Oregon law firm O’Donnell Clark and Crew LLP. Mr. Clark has made a name for himself in the Portland law scene for being a vigorous defender of liberties and a conscientious advocate. Kelly has never shied away from a client with a worthy case, and for this reason, he has found himself representing everyone from individuals and families to family businesses over the course of his long and extensive career.
One of the causes Kelly Clark’s name has become synonymous with is that of victims’ rights in cases involving large institutions. Over the last decade, Kelly Clark has represented victims of child abuse in the Catholic Church, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Mormon Church. Mr. Clark has been published widely for his work in representing survivors of abuse involving “institutions of trust.”
Kelly Clark first earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Portland’s Lewis and Clark College. Kelly remained at Lewis and Clark for his Juris Doctor (J.D.), focusing on the legal disciplines of Constitutional and Public Law. As a law student, Kelly was a member of the Student Government from 1981 to 1982, a Legal Writing Assistant, and the recipient of an Environmental Law Certificate. Mr. Clark is currently in the process of earning his graduate diploma in theology from Trinity College Theological School in Melbourne, Australia. He expects to receive his Master of Divinity in 2010.
In his spare time, attorney Kelly Clark enjoys golf, fly fishing, and photography. He is a supporter of William Temple House, the North Portland Nurse Practitioners Clinic, Young Life, and the St. Andrew Legal Clinic.
